Delora Media is pleased to bring back the popularHow to get ahead in business workshop series supported by the RBC Royal Bank and New Brunswick Enterprise agencies.
The first of a series of workshops across New Brunswick, the May 11th Fredericton workshop will cover topics ranging from business banking and financing tips to online marketing advice to how to develop a business on a small budget. The catered workshop will take place in Fredericton and be an educational day that will see participants hear from a variety of business development specialists from RBC Royal Bank, Enterprise Fredericton, Delora Media and others. The registration fee will include drinks and snacks. The day is designed to empower you and provide a practical plan for operating your business well in all areas ranging from business financing to marketing.

9am- Welcome
9am to 10:00am - Business banking and business financing tips from Nedra Dionne from RBC Royal Bank
10am to 10:30am- Business name selection and business registration advice from Terry Fitzgerald of DocuTek
10:30am to 10:40am- Break
10:40am to 12:15pm- Business planning advice from Chrystal Hallihan of Enterprise Fredericton
12:15pm to 1pm- Lunch is served
1pm to 2:30pm- What are the tools to successful online marketing today and how to use them. This incudes marketing through social media, search engine marketing, e-newsletter marketing, RSS feeds, article marketing, blogs and the construction of the right website. We will also look at when online advertising makes sense and when it doesn't. This section of the workshop will be taught by New Brunswick Business Journal marketing columnist Mark Taylor
2:30pm to 2:40pm- Break
2:40pm to 4pm- Putting the plan in place. How to make a plan to implement what you have learned in the workshop with Mark Taylor
