Marketing has always been a challenge for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. In recent years, the popularity in new technologies and types of networking online has made understanding how to market well more difficult in recent years.
On Monday, May 17th at Boilerworks Restaurant in Saint John, Delora Media will present a marketing well workshop. Participants at this workshop will learn:
- what preparation is required in marketing well
- what online tools are available to help prepare for marketing
- how to determine when their target market is and their brand
- what traditional and new marketing tools make sense for their organization based on what their target market and brand is
- how to use these tools in a way that will allow them to meet their objectives
- how to use social media well
- how to use search engine marketing well
- how to make sense of pay-per-click marketing and use it well
- how to make sense of marketing through the news media and use it well
- how to use e-newsletters well
- how to bring all these tools together and integrate them into day-to-day operations
The workshop will be taught by Mark Taylor of Delora Media. Mr. Taylor is a marketing specialist and columnist for the New Brunswick Business Journal. He is also the creator of the popular Your Business blog on CanadaEast.com.
The workshop will also see special guests arrive during the day to answer questions on business matters.
The price of the workshop is $100 plus HST. Food and drinks are included.
